About Space Cat

Space Cat is a boutique video studio for tech companies. We build the story before we shoot a frame: strategy first, then the film. Tech Tales, Told Right.

We make launch videos, explainer videos, brand films, investor and roadshow films, recruiting videos, performance campaigns, and documentary work, for companies from early startups to public enterprise. Our edge is the narrative: we find the one idea your product turns on, then build the film around it, so an outsider gets it in seconds.

Clients include Payoneer, IBM, Global-e, NextSilicon, Panorays, Above Security, and AUI. The studio was founded by Liat Yoffe, former chief editor of “Layla Calcali” and a Channel 10 news veteran, and is based in Tel Aviv.

Frequently asked questions

What does Space Cat do?

Space Cat is a strategic video studio for tech companies. We handle the full pipeline, from narrative strategy through to final post-production, and the story is built before production begins.

Who is Space Cat for?

Tech founders and marketing leaders who need to explain a complex product simply, coming out of stealth, at a launch, a raise, or a growth inflection. We work with startups through to enterprise.

What makes Space Cat different?

We build an effective narrative first. We find the one idea the product turns on, then design the film around it, so the story is strategic before a single frame is shot. We are not the classic corporate video.

How does Space Cat work?

We start with strategy, not the camera. First we figure out the one idea the product turns on, who it is for, and what they should feel and do. That becomes a concept, then a script, and only then do we shoot and edit. Story first, film second.

What does the process look like, step by step?

Four stages. First, strategy and brief: the objective, the audience, the real pain point, and the single message the film has to land. Second, concept: one central idea, often a metaphor, that carries the whole story. Third, script: every visual paired with its narration, written before we shoot. Fourth, production and post: filming, design, animation, and edit, through to final delivery. The story is locked before a frame is shot.

What kinds of video does Space Cat make?

Launch videos, explainer videos, brand films, investor and roadshow videos, recruiting and employer-brand videos, performance campaigns, and documentary work.

What areas of tech does Space Cat work in?

We work across cybersecurity, fintech and payments, AI, semiconductors and deep tech, developer tools and cloud, medtech, climate tech, proptech, enterprise software, and e-commerce, for companies from early-stage startups to public enterprise. Clients include Payoneer, IBM, Global-e, NextSilicon, Panorays, Above Security, and AUI.
